Dear Members,

WInter Lift Booking Forms and Pricing - We have received over 125 Winter Lift Requests to date - Members wishing to book their winter lift out are strongly encouraged to submit their forms soonest. Booking forms are attached and are available from the office. Please complete and return to the office to secure your winter lift for 2019/20.

Marina - Electric Meters - Berthholders are reminded that all boats drawing electric from 1 Oct must be on a meter available from the Marina Office - Electric on pontoons is charged from 1 Oct - 31 Mar. Those connected without a meter will be charged at £2 per day.

Trafalgar Night Dinner on Fri 18th Oct at 1900 - Starts at 1900 for welcome drinks in the Fabrosa Room. Rig is Mess Undress/Black Tie with miniatures.

Pickle Night Sat 2 Nov at 1900 - Come along to our traditional Pickle Night and join in the fun. Get your mess deck mates together and put your names down for a table. Cost is £15 per head including food, a tot, music and sea shanties. Anyone who has a bosun's call please contact the office.

RNLI Card and Gift Sale + Boat Jumble Sat 9 Nov - This will take place from 10.00am in the Clubhouse.

Remembrance Sunday 10 Nov at 11.00am - You are welcome to join us for our annual event at the Coastal Forces Memorial opposite the Clubhouse. A carvery lunch will be available in the Clubhouse following the event, please book your table.

Pontoons - A number of replacement MOD pontoons for 'I/Eagle and Fieldhouse pontoons' are due to be delivered in the coming weeks and will replace those in a poor state. Members are reminded to take care on the pontoons, they can be slippery when wet.

Wearing of Lifejackets - Recent incidents reported in the media and locally send a strong message to all those on the water to wear a lifejacket - a lifejacket will save your life!

Your Health and Safety is Important to us! - Please report any H&S breaches or recommended improvements and please follow the Club's H&S rules and guidance. If in doubt ask.

Solent Protection Society - Some of you may be interested in the work of the Solent Protection, a main protest group that are aiming to keep our main sailing area to the standard we would like to make our sailing enjoyable. A copy of their Autumn Newsletter is available on our Club website or follow the link to their website https://solentprotection.org/

Rugby World Cup - This is now up and running with daily fixtures shown in the Clubhouse

Car Parking in FB3 - If the JSASTC car park this side of the wall is full then please use the over-flow that has been set up on the main hardstanding inside the wall. The car parks are for use by members on Club business; if you have business in Gosport then please park in the Town centre.
Reminder to Carry Membership ID - Please remember to carry your in-date Club ID cards at all times and to show to security staff on request.
