DISPOSAL OF DIRTY OIL AND RAGS

If you have dirty oil and rags to be disposed of this can be arranged through the marina staff – please do not leave dirty oil or other items for disposal outside buildings including JSASTC buildings. If in doubt please take the items to the local amenities tip.

SECURING BOATS AND USE OF BERTHING LINES

A reminder to bertholders to ensure boats are properly secured. There are too many instances where ropes are poorly secured and looking like a ‘birdsnest’ around cleats. If you require advice please ask Stewart or Robert. See link below.

NO SMOKING POLICY ACROSS MOD SITES

The MOD policy for NO smoking on this site came into force from 1 Jul. The designated smoking area is directly outside the main gate on the right-hand side by the benches. The vaping area is in the shelter at the rear of the car park on the fence line with the Submarine Museum. The Club is seeking clarification on the legality of MOD preventing members smoking on their own boats when alongside; please comply with the policy with effect from 1 Jul and until such time we have clarified the legal position.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
