- October Lift Schedule

November Lift Schedule

Pontoon Electricity Update

Unfortunately, the power supply is still an issue, it affects pontoons C, D, E & H. Work is ongoing to resolve the issue. We will let know any progress.

New Galley Menu

There will be a new Autumn/Winter Menu available from Monday 4th November, including the Hornet classics and some new offerings, including a new Sunday Brunch Menu.

Due to staffing on Sunday 3rd November the bar will be open as normal however, there will only be sandwiches available.

Pickle Night

This years Pickle Night celebration on Friday 1st November will be a subtly different format from the norm. Rather than members forming gun crews and performing, we are being entertained by the famous 'Shep Woolley' with his fiddler, guitarist, accordionist, bassist and shantymen - and some Frenchmen to give their side of the story too!

The Jack Tars among us will know what to expect from Shep. If you're not familiar with him, prepare yourselves for a memorable evening of nautical revelry! And bring your singing voice with you for the chorus!   The theme is a humorous but poignant musical narrative of the events of 1805, from the build-up to the Battle of Trafalgar to the return of HMS Pickle with the news of the great victory and of Lord Nelson's death.   There will be a tot on arrival, and each table will need to appoint a Mess Cook to serve the Potmess. Please dress the part if you can  - matelots, wenches, pirates and parrots all welcome!   Those attending please arrive by 19:00 as the show starts at 19:45 sharp.

As part of the evening we will also be serving a selection of Powder Monkey Beers. If anyone has any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please send details to functions@hornetservicessailing.org.uk

We have a few places available, due to cancellations, so please email functions@hornetservicessailing.org.uk if you would like to join in the evening.

Remembrance Day Service

Hornet will host a Remembrance Service for the Allied Forces on Sunday 10 Nov 24. Tea and coffee will be available from 1030 with the Service starting at 1050.
