Club Night Tonight!

A reminder that this evening is our monthly club night and we are holding our restaurant experience, serving a special menu tonight only. If you would still like to book, please email functions@hornetservicessailing.org.uk by 15:00. We will be able to offer a small number of walk in tables, subject to availability. The bar will be open as usual so everyone is very welcome in for drinks. 

Updates & Reminders

Thank you all for your patience and understanding this week through challenging circumstances. We hope no one was caused too much disruption and apologise for any inconveniences caused. 

As it stands, work to the heads is due to commence in October. An update will be issued early next week once the start date has been finalised. 

Wednesday 30th September

The galley team will be serving fish & chips on Wednesday evening for the Wednesday Night Racing crews and members are welcome to come along for this too. The bar will be open from 18:00. Fish & chips will need to be pre-ordered and then paid for on the evening, to do so, please email Rachel - functions@hornetservicessailing.org.uk by 17:00 Monday. 

New Members Welcome Brief

Join us on Saturday 3rd October for the new members brief from Commodore, Paul Anderson. Find out about the history of the club, what's on and enjoy short tours. For anyone who isn't a new member but would enjoy a refresher, you are welcome to join us too. Refreshments will be provided - please us this link to book so we have an idea of numbers.

Ladies Lunch

There is still time to book for our Ladies Lunch on Saturday 3rd October at 1230. Enjoy a tutored Champagne tasting from Rachel, paired with a three course French themed lunch. I'm sure you will be pleased to hear these will be lighter lunch time portion sizes to make sure you have enough space for dessert!

Conker Championship

We will also be serving a carvery, open to all members, details of this will be later released. 

Trafalgar Night Dinner

Saturday 17th October

Join us for our popular annual Trafalgar Night Dinner, where we mark the Royal Navy's historic victory at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.

Booking opens today to all other members and additional guests, bookings will be made on a first come, first served basis and availability if limited.

The Marina team are busy booking in the requests for winter lifts. If you are still to book yours in, you can book by completing the form below. You can also find this through the members portal on the website, or there are hard copies outside of the Club office.
