2662 IFA2 Route Survey Operations - KHM Portsmouth LNTM No. 63/26

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN jointly by the Kings Harbour Master Portsmouth and the Harbour Master ABP Southampton that as part of the IFA2 Interconnector Project, Route Survey works are planned to take place in the Eastern Solent by Fugro GB Ltd on behalf of the National Grid between 7 - 12 June 2026 (Daylight hours only).
2. The areas to be surveyed are highlighted in the chartlet on line with the work being undertaken by the 12m multi-cat vessel FUGRO SEEKER (MMSI 235102539; Call Sign 2HCS2). Equipment will be towed astern from the vessel, as required.
3. The vessel will have restricted manoeuvrability while undertaking underwater operations. Vessels are requested to pass at a safe speed and distance, and fishing vessels are advised to remain a safe distance (approximately 250m) from the works areas identified. The vessel will monitor VHF Channels 11, 12 & 16 as necessary. 4. Cancel this Local Notice to Mariners 14 June 2026.
