Appointment of new General Manager

I am pleased to announce that we have appointed Jessica (Jess) Bone to be the new General Manager with effect from the end of June.  She is currently the Commercial Director at Whitchurch Silk Mill, where she has the responsibility for the catering and retail operations, involving managing 11 full-time equivalent staff and 50 volunteers and ensuring a positive visitor experience.  She is experienced in strategic business planning, budget management, income generation, maintaining social media and overseeing the health and safety demands of a busy organisation.

Jess has lived in Gosport for 9 years with her partner, who is in the Royal Navy, and 5 year old son. Outside of work she enjoys creative hobbies as well as swimming and caravanning.  She has said that she is "very much looking forward to joining the team and getting to know you all as well as contributing towards the continued development and success of the Club."

Jess will be around for some events before taking over, so if you do see her please make yourself known and welcome her to the Club.
