Ladies and Gentlemen, We hope everyone is making the most of the longer days and gradually improving weather. Many events are being run over the next few weeks so please join in or just come and take advantage of the bar and galley offering, starting with The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 final being shown live in the bar tomorrow evening! This month's Club Night includes a Happy Hour, Quiz and Tapas Sharing Boards from John. These Sharing Boards will include Olives, Red Pepper Hummus, Charcuterie, Focaccia and Calamari, a kids' menu will also be available. If you don't fancy the Quiz, why not just pop in for Happy Hour and some food. Also look out for the new menu coming soon; old favourites with some new options. Free Pilatchi Session. See below details of a free Pilatchi session for members on 1st June. Trafalgar Night. I know it is a long way off but we are looking for someone to take on the organisation of this very popular dinner. Linked into this we will also be looking for a speaker. If anyone is willing to take on the organisation or has any ideas for a speaker please can they let me know. Committee Volunteers Needed. We are looking for enthusiastic members to join the Hornet Services Sailing Club Committee and help shape the future of our Club. NAB Tower Dash - 23th May 26 Registration is now open for the NAB Tower Dash. Entries will require a free YTC certificate. Yarmouth Rally - 30th May 26 Our next rally will be to Yarmouth Harbour on Saturday 30th May 26. We currently have 6 boats registered so it will be going ahead. Boats will receive a 10% reduction on usual Yarmouth fees. We are currently awaiting confirmation of a Rally Dinner reservation at the Royal Solent Yacht Club on Saturday evening. For those who wish to partake there will be a meandering timed passage (family friendly race) on the Saturday, which contributes to the Rally Race Series with prizes up for grabs (free YTC certificate required). There is also an evening club night at HSSC on Friday 29th May. Pilatchi Session - 1st Jun 2026 There will be a free Pilatchi class being offered here for members at 1100 on 1st June in the Fabrosa Room. Club Night 29th May 2026 Our next club night features our ever popular happy hour from 18:00 to 19:00, with 50% of all drinks, alongside a Tapas food offering and a fun quiz.
