Winter Lift Out

The Marina team are busy booking in the requests for winter lifts. If you are still to book yours in, you can book by completing the form below. You can also find this through the members portal on the website, or there are hard copies outside of the Club office.

Thank you!

A huge thank you to the volunteers who gave up their time to help with maintenance around the clubhouse this week. I'm sure you will all agree the porch is looking lovely, as is the utility area outside of John's office which had a much needed spruce up. They also managed to repaint the back of the clubhouse, protecting the panelling and giving it a general tidy up. It looks great and makes a huge difference. Thank you! 

Macmillan Coffee Morning - Friday 25th September

1000-1200 - Fabrosa Room

On Friday 25th September, we will join thousands of organisations across the UK to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a vital charity that helps so many. We will be offering tea and coffee for a donation on the morning and are asking for members to bring along their best bakes for donations too please! Donations will be card only via the QR codesprovided by Macmillan, meaning your donation will go directly to the charity. Club Night

Last chance to book for our next club night on Friday 25th September. We will be trialling a new, restaurant experience with an exclusive menu showcasing John's culinary talent. Lymington Rally

The final rally of the season will be to Lymington on Saturday 26th September and depart on Sunday 27th. 

Members should note that Lymington uses a booking deposit system to secure rally bookings and members will be required to make a £20 deposit payment. Please use the booking form below to book. 

Please note, booking will close at 1200hrs on Thursday 24th.

New members brief

Join us on Saturday 3rd October for the new members brief from Commodore, Paul Anderson. Find out about the history of the club, what's on and enjoy short tours. Ladies Lunch

There is still time to book for our Ladies Lunch on Saturday 3rd October at 1230. Enjoy a tutored Champagne tasting from Rachel, paired with a three course French themed lunch. I'm sure you will be pleased to hear these will be lighter lunch time portion sizes to make sure you have enough space for dessert!

Trafalgar Night Dinner

Join us for our popular annual Trafalgar Night Dinner, where we mark the Royal Navy's historic victory at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.

Reminders & updates

• For those of you booked for the Battle of Britain Dinner - we look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 19th September at 1900. The Bar & Galley will only be open Battle of Britain guests on Saturday evening. 
• A gentle reminder that no cables should be trailing across the top of the pontoons. Any found by the marina team will be unplugged.
• D-block lay apart store windows are due to be replace from October. During this time, we will need access to all of the stores at some point. I will be contacting members directly but we will require the combination codes or padlock keys for access during this time please. 
• The heads refurbishment is currently due to begin in early October. I will provide a further update next week once I have the details confirmed.
