Ladies and Gentlemen, Don't forget to join us for Club Night tonight and make the most of Happy Hour from 18:00-19:00. It's the perfect chance to unwind, catch up with fellow members, and enjoy a relaxed start to the weekend. A few committee members will be around throughout the evening, so if you've got any questions, ideas, or issues you'd like to chat through, feel free to grab us for a friendly conversation. Were always happy to hear from you. Galley & Bar Discount A 10% discount can be applied to all Galley and Bar purchases (except special events or already discounted items) for Full, Veteran, Honorary and Family members. To avail yourself of this discount you must present the appropriate card, with the 2026 sticker, at time of purchase. The bar staff know many members by sight but may not be aware of any changes to membership. Please do not put the staff in a difficult position by asking for a discount without the appropriate membership card. New contact phone numbers There are now phone numbers to contact the General Manager and Marina Team as below:
Work to Clubhouse and surrounds As some of you will be aware the Clubhouse has been suffering some subsidence which in time would compromise the integrity of the building. Structural engineers have come up with a plan to secure the building by underpinning in a number of areas and improving run off drainage. This work is due to start next week an whilst you may see the contractors, hopefully it will not impact on Clubhouse operations. Landline Phones/Wi-Fi Monday 2nd Feb Owing to an upgrade to the Clubhouse electrics, the landline phones will be out of action on Monday 2nd Feb from about 1300 until 1700. Contact with the Club will still be able to be made if needed using the mobile numbers detailed above or via email. During this time there may also be short periods when the Wi-Fi will be offline. New Members Briefing We would like to invite all new members, and any existing members who would like to join us, to a friendly introduction to the Club and its facilities on the 31st January from 1000. The session includes coffee, a brief in the Fabrosa Room, followed by an informative walk round of the site and a buffet lunch. It's a great chance to get to know the Club, meet fellow members, and ask any questions in an informal setting. If you would like to come along, please email functions@hornetservicessailing.org.uk Lost Key We have had the following key and fob handed into the office, please contact us if you believe this is yours. Regards, Kieran, Interim General Manager | ||
