HM the King Gun Salute: Coronation Day on 6 May 2025 - KHM Portsmouth LNTM No. 55/25

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the King's Harbour Master Portsmouth that to celebrate the anniversary of His Majesty the Kings Coronation, on Tuesday 6 May 2025 His Majestys Naval Base Portsmouth will conduct a Gun Salute from the flight deck of HMS Queen Elizabeth berthed on Princess Royal Jetty at 1200.
2. To ensure safety during the firing, as allowed in the provisions of the Dockyard Port of Portsmouth Order 2005, KHM will impose an exclusion zone of 300m from the aft port side of HMS Queen Elizabeth, for all marine traffic. Large traffic to/from the Naval Base or Portsmouth International Port will be held or have its speed adjusted to ensure the exclusion zone is clear. Ministry of Defence Police launches will ensure small craft keep out of the exclusion zone.
3. All mariners are advised to remain clear of this exclusion zone. A sécurité broadcast will be made by KHM enacting the exclusion zone at 1150. A further broadcast will be made to disestablish the exclusion zone immediately on completion of the event.
